PreBreakout aims to make its calculators and guides usable with keyboard navigation, screen readers, zoom and reduced-motion preferences.
Implemented measures
- Semantic labels are associated with calculator inputs.
- Results and validation messages use live regions for assistive technology.
- Keyboard focus is visible.
- Navigation includes a skip link and mobile menu state is exposed through ARIA.
- Color is not the only method used to communicate calculator meaning.
- Animations are disabled when the operating system requests reduced motion.
Known limitations
Synthetic chart illustrations are visual by nature, so each chart includes textual context and the surrounding page explains the geometry in words. If a future feature cannot be made reasonably accessible, it should not silently replace the text-based explanation.
