Accuracy matters most where a page shows a formula. If an error is found, the preferred response is to correct the source, update affected examples and re-run calculator tests rather than add a disclaimer around a known mistake.
What counts as a material correction
Examples include an incorrect equation, calculator code that disagrees with the displayed formula, a definition that reverses meaning, a broken internal link that prevents use of a tool, or legal/privacy language that no longer matches the site’s actual behavior.
What is not silently rewritten as fact
Subjective chart conventions are labeled as such. If two common definitions exist, the page should explain the difference instead of presenting one convention as an exchange rule.
